Vita Mahjong Daily Challenge

Daily gives you a separate Vita Mahjong board for each day. It does not advance the main level ladder. Complete the calendar to earn the monthly badge, and use the current month to catch up on missed days before they become unavailable.

Find Daily on the home screen

In the documented interface, the Daily button sits toward the middle left of the home screen, near the themed-event standings. Its position may move with an update, so look for the Daily label or calendar rather than a particular screen coordinate.

The daily puzzle is normally a small, straightforward board: clear the whole layout in a short sitting. You can play it while stuck on a main level, because it has its own progress. It is not another number in the main ladder. See all modes if several home-screen buttons look similar.

Missed days and the monthly badge

A missed daily board remains available during the current calendar month in the documented system. Once that month ends, its unfinished days can no longer be completed. Finishing every day earns the monthly badge, stored with your other achievements.

Every day completedThe monthly badge is awarded.

Daily is different from the event leaderboard

Main levels are a continuing sequence independent of the calendar. Daily is one dated board, without difficulty increasing because you reached a high main-level number. It is usually simpler, though an individual layout can still take thought.

The themed challenge runs for a limited period and awards leaderboard points for its event tiles. Daily has its own monthly badge and does not contribute those challenge points. Journey is different again: a weekly sequence rather than one daily board. Compare the modes and ranking progress before deciding which reward to pursue.

Read the board rather than its theme

The daily artwork may differ from the main levels or current event. The matching rule remains the same: both tiles must be free, with nothing above and an open left or right side. A different tile theme is not a new matching rule.

Daily is generally described as a simple board without special bonuses. If a version presents a hidden or mystery tile, use its displayed instructions and the tile guide rather than assuming every Daily board is identical. Matches counts the pairs available now. At zero, a hint cannot create a match; use an available shuffle or restart option.

A routine that leaves time to catch up

Open Daily before the main ladder if the monthly badge matters to you. This makes it less likely to be forgotten after a long level session. When a day is missed, return while the month is still open rather than leaving a large backlog for the last evening.

The badge requires all days. One unfinished day at month-end prevents that month from being completed. The badge screen keeps earned Daily and Journey awards after their periods change, but that history is not a way to reopen an expired puzzle.

Use the rules and board tips if the puzzle is difficult. Our browser game can help you practice matching, but it is Mah and cannot complete a Vita Mahjong calendar day.

If today’s puzzle will not open

Reconnect before requesting new daily content, check the device date and time, and reopen the app. Check for an update if the calendar remains blank. Do not clear app data simply to refresh a calendar: that can endanger local progress. See loading and crash help for safe checks.

Frequently asked questions

Where is the daily challenge?

Look for Daily or the calendar on the home screen. The documented layout puts it toward the middle left, near the themed-event standings, but updates may move it.

Can I complete a missed day?

Yes, within the current calendar month in the documented system. A day left unfinished after the month ends cannot be made up.

What does the monthly badge do?

It records completion of every day in that calendar month. Earned badges remain in the achievement history alongside Journey badges.

Is Daily harder than ordinary levels?

It is usually one simpler board and is not tied to your main-level number. Being stuck on the ladder does not stop Daily progress.

Does Daily give themed-challenge points?

No. Daily has its own calendar reward. Event points come from eligible themed tiles and play in the relevant other modes.
