Vita Mahjong Not Working
If Vita Mahjong crashes, freezes or stays on a loading screen, begin with steps that preserve its data: reopen the app, restart the device and check updates. Do not delete the app or clear its storage before checking how your progress is saved.
Choose the symptom
| Symptom | Start here |
|---|---|
| App closes or freezes | Close and reopen it, restart the device, then check app and system updates. |
| A daily board or reward will not load | Check the connection and whether the feature requires online content. |
| Progress is missing but the app opens | Follow the progress recovery guide; repeated reinstalling can make recovery harder. |
| A purchase is missing | Check the original store account, receipt and any Restore Purchases control. |
| Our browser frame is blank | Use the separate browser-game help on Play. |
Android: safe checks first
- Close the app and open it again. Use Force stop through the device’s app settings if it is unresponsive.
- Restart the phone or tablet.
- Check Google Play for an app update and device settings for a system update.
- Check available storage and a stable connection if the problem involves downloading or online content.
Google’s troubleshooting guide also discusses cache and data. They are not the same: clearing app storage/data can erase the local save. Do not select that action merely because it appears beside Clear cache.
iPhone or iPad: reopen, restart, update
- Close the unresponsive app and reopen it.
- Restart the device.
- Check the App Store for an app update and Settings for an iOS or iPadOS update.
- If only this app continues to fail, gather its details for the developer.
Apple’s app troubleshooting warns that deleting and redownloading an app can lose stored data. Protect the game account and records before considering that later step.
Check online features separately
Ordinary downloaded levels can work offline while sign-in, synchronization, a reward ad or fresh daily content fails to load. Test a stable connection and inspect the specific feature. A reward-ad failure is not proof that every ordinary level requires internet.
If the app opens normally but a date-specific board is missing, check the device date and time and the current calendar. The Daily guide explains month-end limits. Avoid assuming a server outage without evidence; this guide does not operate a live service-status monitor.
Before deleting anything
Record the level, badges, player ID if shown, installed version and account method. Inspect Save your progress while the app still opens, and keep the old phone or installation until another device’s restoration is verified. Read progress recovery.
Do not clear app data, downgrade an APK or uninstall just to see whether it helps if the only save is local. Contact support first when you cannot establish a recoverable account. A purchase receipt proves a transaction, not necessarily a backup of every completed level.
Send a useful support report
Use Feedback in the app or support@vitastudio.ai. State the device model, operating-system version, game version, when the issue began and the exact action that triggers it. Say whether ordinary levels open and whether the problem happens on more than one connection.
A screenshot of the error can help, but hide personal information and never include passwords or login codes. If the issue began after an update, include the version and date rather than assuming every player has the same bug. This independent site cannot inspect your game account or guarantee a recovery.
Frequently asked questions
Should I reinstall first?
No. Start with reopening, restarting and updates. Deletion can remove locally stored progress, so check the account and recovery options first.
Why do levels work but Daily or a reward ad does not?
Those features may need a connection or new online content even when ordinary downloaded boards work offline. Check the feature and connection separately.
Is clearing cache the same as clearing data?
No. Android exposes separate actions on many devices. Clearing app storage/data can erase the local save; do not choose it casually.
What if my level has gone back to the beginning?
Stop before overwriting or deleting anything. Compare the connected account and method with the original device, then follow our progress recovery guide or contact support.
Does this page fix the browser game too?
The embedded Mah game is separate. Use the loading and storage instructions on Play for that game.
