Vita Mahjong Updates

The US App Store listing checked on November 5, 2026 showed Vita Mahjong 3.45.0 at 431.1 MB. Android and Apple releases need not arrive together. Check the version offered to your own device before comparing release numbers or trying to fix an update problem.

Current snapshot and what release notes can tell you

The checked Apple snapshot is version 3.45.0, 431.1 MB. The older source snapshot was 3.40.1, released September 26, 2026 at 411.4 MB on iPhone. Keeping the date with these figures prevents an old download size from appearing current.

Store notes commonly describe bug fixes and performance work without naming individual issues. Such brief notes do not prove that a particular crash was fixed, or that the interface did not change. Use the store’s own current What’s New section for the release available to you.

Recorded release history

This table preserves the dated September source history alongside the newer Apple observation. A check date is not the same as a release date, and Android and Apple versions are not a synchronized series.

How to read size changes

The source history starts with the Apple release on December 1, 2023 and records many later updates, often one or two weeks apart. That pattern is not a guaranteed future schedule. It also records an Android package decrease of about 547 KB between 3.36.1 and 3.37.0, followed by an increase of nearly 5 MB from 3.37.0 to 3.40.1.

Those are historical package comparisons, not measurements of storage on your phone. Size changes alone do not show which boards were added or whether a bug was fixed.

Update on Android

  1. Open the game’s Google Play listing or the store’s app-management screen.
  2. Choose Update if that account and device are offered a newer build.
  3. Let the download and installation finish on a stable connection.
  4. Enable store automatic updates if you want the store to manage future releases.

No Update button means no newer build is currently offered there, not necessarily that every country and device has the same version. Automatic updates depend on device and store settings and are not guaranteed overnight. If you installed through RuStore, inspect that listing and publisher; do not assume changing stores is a verified update path. See download options.

Update on iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the App Store and your account’s available updates, or the game’s listing.
  2. Choose Update if shown.
  3. Complete any Apple account verification and wait for installation to finish.
  4. Check automatic app updates in device settings if you want them enabled.

Keep enough free space and power for the download. The source suggested more than 20% battery as a practical precaution; it is not a verified Vita Mahjong installation requirement. A charger is sensible for a large download, but an interrupted download does not automatically require deleting the game.

If an update fails

Follow Apple’s app troubleshooting or Google’s Android app guidance: restart and check updates before considering deletion. Both distinguish routine checks from actions that can remove app data.

Before trying an older APK

Official stores do not offer a general rollback archive. Earlier listings identified APKCube and APKPure as independent Android catalogs. Their files have not been downloaded and signature-audited for this English guide; a catalog claim is not our verification.

An older version can lack fixes and may not understand a newer save format. Do not uninstall a working local save just to test a downgrade. Record the issue, check support advice and protect progress first. A modified “unlocked” or ad-free APK is not an official store purchase.

Other platforms have separate update paths

The Microsoft Store title Vita Mahjong: 120 Layouts is a Stgames product. Its update schedule is separate because it is a different game, not a delayed Windows release of Vita Studio’s app.

The official website serves its browser experience without a mobile-store installation, though a browser can retain cached resources. RuStore’s availability should be checked in that store; no fixed one- or two-day synchronization promise is established here. The computer guide explains these distinctions.

Protect progress before troubleshooting

A normal store update is intended to retain app data. Deleting the app, clearing its storage, changing devices or installing incompatible older builds creates a different risk. No update process is an absolute guarantee against every fault.

Check the game’s account connection while it still opens, record the level and account method, and keep the original installation until recovery is confirmed. Follow the transfer checklist. You can also play the separate Mah game in the browser, but it cannot recover or replace your mobile save.

Frequently asked questions

Which version is current?

The US Apple listing checked November 5, 2026 showed 3.45.0. Use the store on your own device for the build currently offered there.

How often are updates released?

The recorded history often has one- or two-week gaps. That is historical observation, not a release schedule or a guarantee of new levels in every update.

What if the game will not update?

Check storage, connection and the store, then restart the device. Do not jump to uninstalling: local progress can be lost. Use the not-working guide if the app still fails.

Can I get an older version?

Independent Android catalogs may offer older APKs, but their current files are not audited here. Downgrading can create compatibility or save problems.

Will updating erase my progress?

A normal store update is intended to preserve data. Deletion, clearing storage and incompatible downgrades can remove or break it. Check your account connection before troubleshooting.
